☘Let's talk Health🌿

As a Natural health practitioner Licensed to practice Locally and internationally, I deem it fit to address an issue which is one of the leading causes of health challenges in Nigeria and the entire globe.

If hitherto you have been indifferent to its risk potentials then you must begin to see it in another vein after today's talk.

This much ado is about😑TOXIN😑

..... It's simply defined as an unseen chemical substance which damages an organism.

Mental confusion, fatigue, unexplained weight gain, bloating, physical aches and pain, constipation, unusual smelling body odour, brain fog, etc

πŸ₯•Causes πŸ₯•

Air and water pollution, car exhaust, industrial fumes, pesticide, herbicide and  radiation, hair care products, perfumes, cleaning agents, etc

The question now is.... Which of these aforementioned causes are we not exposed to on a nearly daily basis?πŸ™ˆ

Your fear is as good as mine.

Today, with more toxins in the environment than ever, it is critical to detoxify, a detox program can help the body's natural cleansing process by;

πŸ₯• Improving blood circulation

πŸ₯• Stimulates the liver to drive toxins from the body

πŸ₯• Resting the organs through fasting

πŸ₯• Promotes elimination through the intestines, kidney and skin.

Presence of toxins in the body affects the liver majorly, limiting it from carrying out proper detoxification process.

The liver is the largest organ in the body and plays important and major roles necessary for proper body functioning and to achieve optimal health.

Some side effects of toxicity includes:

πŸ₯• Joint problems

πŸ₯• Blood disorders

πŸ₯• Tissue and

πŸ₯• Muscles challenges

Detoxification. .

Simply means cleansing the blood, this is done by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination. The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system and skin (the largest organ externally).

 What your waistline says about your Health

I had to pick this topic for discussion because a lot of people do not understand the fact that their waistline sizes is one of the determinant  factor of their overall health or they simply choose to neglect it.

....... The waistline refers to the horizontal line where the waist is narrowest, some people are confused about this.

....... How to locate the waistline

Simply stand upright, then tilt over to the side, keeping the legs and  hips straight , where the torso increases is the natural waistline

...... The connection between your Waistline and your Health

It may interest you to know that your waistline size happens to be one of three (3) key measures of your overall health.

The other two (2) being;

πŸ₯• Body mass index (BMI) and

πŸ₯• Waist to- hip ratio

We would be concerned more with waistline size for the purpose of this writeup

....... According to National heart, lung and blood institute, you can be at an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and  all these can lead to heart disease.  If you are a man with ;

Waistline of more than _40 inches_ and a woman with;

Waistline more than _35 inches_

Fats stored around your waist and the distribution of your weight may be influenced by your diet and exercise habits

....How to decrease waist size

πŸ₯’Move your body..... Vigorous exercise of 15 minutes or moderate exercise of 30 minutes daily, activities like ; jogging on the spot, jumping rope, swimming, walking, and aerobics are fantastic

πŸ₯’Eat a healthy diet,  skip processed and fast foods replace with vegetables, lean meat, whole grains and high fibre foods. Avoid saturated fats and added sugar

πŸ₯’Watch your portion size..... Taking healthy foods in large quantities may put you at the risk of gaining weight due to high calorie intake

πŸ₯’Skip sodas and other sugary beverages, too much sugar in the body makes the body overly acidic,  this is the bedrock for so many dangerous ailment. Consume lots of water instead , you can add a dash of lemon juice to improve the taste.

πŸ₯’Skip night meals or at least avoid eating late at night,  it's difficult for your body to metabolise foods eating late at night, this equally has a negative effect on your diastolic blood pressure.

πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€My Recommendations

In my candid opinion,  unless you are involve in some sort of energy draining , physically exertive or mentally exhaustive job, taking three square meals is not ideal, especially from ages 40 when your hormones and metabolism are no longer at their optimal performances.

πŸ₯• Say no to that big bowl πŸ₯£ of complex carbs

πŸ₯• Say no to late night eating better still skip it

πŸ₯• Eat maximum of two healthy square meals daily

πŸ₯• No carbonated drinks

πŸ₯• Reduce added sugar

πŸ₯• Take more raw meals (fruits and vegetables) than cooked this is especially for type "A" blood group

πŸ₯• Alkaline your body, cut down on high purine foods like red meat πŸ₯©

πŸ₯• Consume lots of water πŸ’¦ especially on waking up, it reduces the level of acidity in your stomach and hydrates your system.

πŸ—£Pay proper attention to your health, do regular check up, don't self medicate.
